Missouri State Bears Basketball Updates

Senior Night Activities: The Bears will conclude their 2014-15 home slate on Wednesday, Feb. 25 against Bradley at 7 p.m. Pregame activities will include a tribute to the team's two seniors, Christian Kirk and Ron Mvouika.

White Out: Wednesday's game is also being billed as a White Out with all students and fans encouraged to wear white to support the seniors and the Missouri State team on its final home game of the season.

Kids Night: As part of the annual Kids Night festivities at JQH Arena on Feb. 25, all kids 12 and under are welcome to participate in the MSU Kids Zone for games and activities throughout the game with a postgame autograph session. All tickets for children 12 and under are just $5 with the purchase of an adult ticket. Upper-level adult tickets are available for as little as $7. Cooper Farms and Second Baptist Church will also be sponsoring collectible MSU team trading cards for all kids in attendance, as supplies last. Mvouika Surgery Scheduled: Senior Ron Mvouika (G/F, Paris, France) will undergo back surgery on Feb. 26. He has appeared in just two games this season and has missed 24 straight games since he first began experiencing back spasms and related injuries in mid-November. Mvouika is on schedule to complete his degree in communications studies this August.

MVC Tournament / The Hangout: Once again this year, the original Hangout at the MVC Tournament in St. Louis will take place at Union Station as home to Missouri State fans and supporters throughout Arch Madness, March 5-8. The Hangout will once again be at St. Louis Union Station (1820 Market Street) and will feature the official hospitality headquarters for Missouri State fans with pregame pep rallies, free soft drinks and snacks, spirit posters and signs, prize giveaways, MSU BearWear for sale from the Missouri State Bookstore, and team send-offs before each game. The Hangout will also feature performances from the Bear Mania Basketball Band, Sugar Bears and Missouri State Cheer Squad. The Hangout is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Missouri State game days and will close while the Bears are in action at Scottrade Center.
