NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas - The final round of the Delta Gamma Challenge, hosted by Texas State at Landa Park Golf Course, has been canceled Monday due to increasing wind chill and balls moving on the green.

Missouri State, which played at least seven holes in the third round before the stoppage, shot a 36-hole score of 38-over-par 606 to finish in 13th place, ahead of Ball State, which carded a 66-over-par 634.

Idaho finished the first day of the tournament tied with UALR at 7-over 575. The Vandals earned the team championship by virtue of their No. 5 golfer's score at the end of the second round.

Due to tiebreakers, there was a three-way tie for individual medalist with Texas State's Lora Assad, UALR's Sabrina Bonnano and Youngstown State's Aislynn Merling each claiming a share of the title at 2-under-par 140.

Stine Pettersen was the Bears' top individual finisher, tying for 15th place. She shot 3-over 145, closing with a Missouri-State-freshman-record 69 in the second round.

Missouri State returns to action March 13-15 at the Rio Verde Invitational, hosted by Western Michigan, in Rio Verde, Ariz.
