Game Overview

The Missouri State Lady Bears (1-7, 0-0 MVC) return to the JQH Arena floor Sunday afternoon when IUPUI (3-6) pays a visit for a 2 p.m. tip-off. Sunday's game is a rematch of last November's game in Indianapolis, which the Jaguars won by a 76-65 final.

The Lady Bears close their four-game homestand on Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. against Arkansas State, and are in the midst of playing eight consecutive games in the state of Missouri, with a Dec. 30 contest against Mizzou in the Sprint Center and three home Missouri Valley Conference contests still on tap before a Jan. 16 visit to Loyola.

Fans are encouraged to dress in holiday attire Sunday afternoon, with prizes going to the most festive male and female in attendance.

Series History

Missouri State lost its only meeting with IUPUI by a 76-65 score on Nov. 17, 2013, in Indianapolis. Kenzie Williams scored 16 points lead the Lady Bears.

IUPUI is 3-6 on the year with wins against SIUE, Eastern Illinois and IU-Kokomo. The Jaguars are picked to finish third in The Summit League this year, with senior forward Nevena Markovic checking in as a preseason first-team all-league selection. Markovic averages 9.0 points per game as one of seven Jaguars that score between 6.8 and 10 points per contest. As a team, IUPUI scores 68.8 points and allows 66.3 while shooting 44.3 percent overall, 39.3 percent on 3-pointers and 65.2 percent from the foul line.
