SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Missouri State softball team's schedule got yet another revision on Thursday. Following the rescheduling of yesterday's doubleheader at Wichita State to next Wednesday, the Bears (15-24, 6-8) will now host the Shockers in a make-up game on Tuesday, April 30. The single game originally scheduled for April 24, will be played at Killian Stadium at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th.
Another scheduling change is that the start time for the May 1 game at Tulsa has been moved up to 2:00 p.m. Be sure to stay tuned to MissouriStateBears.com for the latest scheduling information.
Missouri State will host Evansville on Saturday, April 20 to begin a three-game weekend series versus the Purple Aces. Special events surrounding the noon doubleheader on the 20th include Barb Gaines' jersey retirement and a celebration of coach Hesse's 25 years at Missouri State. Sunday's single game will be telecast on Mediacom 22 on a tape delay basis, visit MC22.net for broadcast times. A free youth clinic will be offered following Sunday's game.
