SPRINGFIELD -- Missouri State Director of Athletics Kyle Moats has announced the addition of two new affiliates to the Missouri State Television Network with over-the-air channels KZOU 32 in Columbia and WRBU My46 in St. Louis, set to join the network and begin airing MSU men's and women's basketball telecasts later this week.
The Missouri State Television Network includes sister flagship stations KYTV (KY3) and KCZ (The Ozarks CW), in Springfield, along with long-time affiliates Time Warner Cable SportsChannel in Kansas City and Charter Communications in St. Louis.
"The addition of over-the-air stations in the St. Louis and mid-Missouri markets dramatically increases our basketball coverage around the state," Moats said. "These stations are also available to satellite and cable subscribers in those areas, and we're extremely proud to have them join the Missouri State Television Network."
Both new affiliates will air Friday's men's basketball game at Oral Roberts, as well as most of the remaining Bears and Lady Bears network telecasts, except when previous programming commitments must be honored. A complete affiliate coverage summary will be available on the men's and women's basketball pages at MissouriStateBears.com, as well as the individual game previews and game notes on the site.
KZOU, can be seen on channel 12 on Mediacom and Charter Cable; channel 18 on DirecTV; channel 32 on Dish Network; and digital channel 17.3 over-the-air in the Columbia/Jefferson City market. WRBU is on channel 7 on Charter Cable; channel 46 on DirecTV and Dish Network, and channel 47 over the air in the St. Louis area.
