The Missouri State Lady Bears (6-3, 0-0 MVC) visit Iowa City for the first time in 11 years Wednesday when they take on the Iowa Hawkeyes (8-3, 0-0 Big Ten) on the front end of a two-game road trip that ends Dec. 21 with a 6:30 p.m. contest at Southeast Missouri State.
Carver-Hawkeye Arena remains the site of one of Missouri State's most historic women's basketball wins, a 61-60 overtime victory over the host school in the 1992 NCAA Tournament.
With three non-conference games left before MVC plays starts Jan. 3, the Lady Bears are one victory away from securing a winning non-league record for a fourth consecutive season.
