The Missouri State Lady Bears will play in an in-season, international tournament for the first time since 2008 when they travel to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Nov. 20-22 for the Hardwood Tournament of Hope, organized by PlanBC3, LLC and the National Urea Cycle Disorders Foundation.

The event consists of eight women's team to play three games each at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center.
Missouri State opens the three-game, three-day event on Nov. 20 against Gonzaga (8:30 p.m.). Gonzaga was a 2012 NCAA Sweet 16 team. On Nov. 21, the Lady Bears play either Louisville or Central Florida (time TBA). MSU's third game in Mexico will be on Nov. 22 against either Oregon State, UC Santa Barbara, Winthrop or Mississippi State.
The tournament is sponsored by the Missouri Valley Conference and proceeds will be used to raise awareness, support and research for the National Urea Cycle Disorders Foundation www.nucdf.org. The event is being coordinated by Plan BC3, LLC www.planbc3.com and Triple Threat Travel, LLC.
