Bears' Young Wins Springfield City Golf Title

Missouri State's Daily Young fired a five-under-par 67 in Sunday's (July 17) final round to take home the title at the 2011 Springfield City Men's Golf Championship at Rivercut Golf Course. 

The Bears' junior-to-be, a Hillcrest High grad, held a one-shot lead entering the final round after posting 69 on Saturday and finished the tournament with a 136 total, three better than Nathan Fredrick (71-68--139).
