Weekly Practice Schedule and Media Availability

 

Lady Bear players and coaches are typically available to the media before each Tuesday and Thursday practice (or whenever noted below). Those members of the media needing to make arrangements for interviews outside of designated availability sessions should contact Assistant Director of Athletics Communications Eric Doennig at (417) 836-4586 or ericdoennig@missouristate.edu no fewer than 24 hours ahead of requested time.

MVC Coaches Teleconference

Twice during the conference season the MVC will conduct teleconferences featuring the league’s 10 head coaches. Media personnel wishing to participate may call (877) 417-8778. The teleconference dates are Jan. 4 and March 8 with coaches taking questions according to the schedule listed below.

Valley Launches State Farm MVC Tournament Web Site

The Missouri Valley Conference, in conjunction with St. Louis based The Miller Group, has launched a tournament-specific web site for the 2011 State Farm MVC Women's Basketball Championship, which will be held March 10-13 at The Family Arena in St. Charles, Mo.

The site is a one-stop spot for all things regarding the championship, including, but not limited to, ticket information, local attractions and hotel information as well as the latest news surrounding the neutral site event.

Lady Bear Basketball Breakfasts

Nyla Milleson and her staff will host bi-weekly breakfasts at Golden Corral (2020 E. Primrose) during the regular season. The cost of the buffet-style breakfast is $7 per person and the public is invited to attend. Breakfasts are scheduled for 7 a.m. on Nov. 9, Nov. 23, Dec. 7, Jan. 4, Jan. 18, Feb. 15 and March 1.
