allowed two singles in seven innings to run his personal scoreless streak to 16 frames as the Bears earned their second consecutive Sunday shutout with a 13-0 win against North Dakota at Hammons Field.
Relievers Barrett Noirfalise
and Jonathan McCann
pitched a perfect eighth and ninth, respectively, to finish off the two-hitter and help Missouri State (8-3) to its seventh consecutive victory overall.
Barber did not allow a North Dakota (0-6) batter beyond first base and retired 15 in a row from the first to sixth innings. He walked none and struck out six to improve to 2-1 on the season.
On the offensive side, nine Bears recorded a hit, led by Aaron Conway
’s second straight four-hit game, nine players had an RBI and 11 scored at least one run.
The Bears jumped ahead of UND with five runs in the first with the help of four walks and three singles. Brock Chaffin

drew bases-loaded walks, Keenen Maddox
and Brett Marshall
hit RBI singles, and Travis McComack
hit a sacrifice fly to account for the MSU scoring.
Chaffin hit an RBI single in the second, and Marshall hit his second RBI single of the contest in the fourth inning before Conway ripped a two-run double to make it a 9-0 game.
swatted a two-run homer in the eighth for his first Missouri State hit, and Trey Massenberg
hit a two-out RBI single and scored on Luke Voit
’s double to make it 13-0 in favor of the Bears.
Conway and Brent Seifert
each extended hitting streaks to 11 games.
The Bears open a five-game road trip Tuesday, March 8, with a 6:30 p.m. game at Arkansas State.
