The Missouri State Lady Bears (6-3, 0-0 Missouri Valley Conference) finish the non-conference season Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. with a visit to Arkansas State (5-6, 0-0 Sun Belt) for a game that will be televised on the Ozarks CW in the Springfield area.
The Lady Bears take an eight-day break after the ASU game before opening the MVC season Dec. 29 at Bradley.
Senior Casey Garrison, who has scored at least 26 points in three of her last four games and recently passed Melody Howard for third in Missouri State history in career scoring, returns to the site of perhaps her best game as a Lady Bear, as she had 35 points and 17 boards in Jonesboro on Nov. 27, 2009, in a 73-65 Missouri State victory.
Series History
Missouri State holds an 8-7 series lead over Arkansas State but is just 2-5 all-time in Jonesboro. The Lady Bears have beaten ASU in each of the last three seasons, including a 73-65 victory on the road in 2009. MSU won 58-47 last season at JQH Arena and 61-52 in 2008.

Arkansas State is 5-6 overall, 4-1 at home and has won three of its last four games. ASU and Missouri State have one common opponent, Louisiana Tech, with the Red Wolves losing to LT by 10 points at home and MSU winning by 13 on the road. Arkansas State also fell to Illinois State 78-50.
Jane Morrill leads ASU in both scoring (16.5) and rebounding (5.8) while shooting 46 percent from the floor. As a team, Arkansas State shoots 37.6 percent overall, 28.8 percent from three-point range and 68.4 percent from the free throw line.
