Missouri State Season Opener vs. EKU Postponed Due to Weather

SPRINGFIELD -- The 2010 Missouri State football Bears' season opener against Eastern Kentucky has been postponed due to lightning and has been rescheduled for Friday, Sept. 3 at 1 p.m. (Central).

Admission and parking is free for fans, with limited services provided within the stadium.

The announcement came after a three-hour delay resulting from a line of thunderstorms that did not yield an acceptable playing window.
