Fans looking for last minute holiday gift ideas need look no further than JQH Arena, as Missouri State University has announced special ticket opportunities for upcoming men's and women's basketball games.
The Bears and Lady Bears are currently offering discounted upper-bowl and lower-level bleacher tickets for the December 31 women's game against Bradley and the men's January 1 contest with Illinois State. Upper-level tickets for the Lady Bears' 1:05 p.m., Missouri Valley Conference opener against Bradley are currently on sale for $5, while the same tickets for the Bears' 7:05 p.m., tilt with the Redbirds are being sold for $7. Lower-level bleacher tickets to both games are available for $10. Additionally, all kids 12 and under will receive free admission with a parent's ticket purchase for the Lady Bears' game with Bradley.
MSU is also offering ticket packages for the Bears' and Lady Bears' conference games in 2009-10, which will be available for purchase through the Missouri State Athletics Box Office through each team's MVC home opener. The men's Valley package includes upper-level reserved tickets to all nine MVC home games for $125 each, while the women's package features lower-level bleacher seats for all nine Valley home games for $90 apiece.
Missouri State also continues to offer "Food, Fun and Basketball" plans for both the Bears and Lady Bears for the remainder of the 2009-10 season. Each package includes four upper-level tickets, a $25 concessions gift card. Men's packages are available for $50, while women's packages are on sale for $40.
Finally, discounted State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament tickets are available through January 1. All-session tickets for the women's tournament, scheduled for March 11-14 in St. Charles, Mo., are on sale for $30 each, which represents a savings of $20 per ticket off the regular price. Tickets to all sessions of the men's tourney, which will be held March 5-7 in St. Louis, are available for $110 each, which is $15 off the regular ticket price.
The Athletics Box Office, located in JQH Arena, is also selling upper-level, single-game tickets for all remaining home games. The box office will be open throughout the last week of the year and can be reached at (417) 836-7678 and www.MissouriStateTix.com.
