Home to the Missouri State softball program since 1984, MSU Softball Field has an all-natural grass surface and received a new lighting system in the fall of 2005 as a gift from the late Bee Payne-Stewart.

The Bears will move into a new home facility on the grounds of Killian Softball Complex in east Springfield in 2009.
