Janie Gohn competed during the 1969 to 1972 period in the Bears’ AIAW days and was a standout performer in volleyball for the Bears of coach Mary Jo Wynn for three seasons and coach Linda Dollar as a senior. The 1972 team won state and regional AIAW titles and finished seventh in the nation.
