Missouri State University Athletics Development has announced additional men’s and women’s basketball ticket opportunities for the remainder of the 2008-09 season.
The Bears and Lady Bears "Valley Five Packs" are currently on sale with upper-level seats for five Missouri Valley Conference games for the upcoming conference season for each team. For the men, the Valley Five Pack will include games against Wichita State (Jan. 14), Northern Iowa (Jan. 25), Southern Illinois (Feb. 7), Indiana State (Feb. 14) and Creighton (Feb. 24). Lady Bears games included in the Valley Five Pack are Illinois State (Jan. 19), Creighton (Feb. 6), Drake (Feb. 6), Wichita State (Feb. 21) and Southern Illinois (March 1).
The Valley 5 Packs are $65 for the Bears and $50 for the Lady Bears.
The Athletics Box Office, now located in JQH Arena, is also selling upper-level, single-game tickets for all remaining home games. The box office can be reached at (417) 836-7678, (888) 476-7849, and www.MissouriStateTix.com.
This weekend, a $5 upper-level ticket will be available to all fans for the December 13 men’s game against Central Arkansas and the December 14 women’s game against UALR as part of a food drive with the Salvation Army. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the collection bins at JQH Arena this weekend to take advantage of this savings and ticket opportunity.
Current season ticket holders may also purchase additional individual game tickets, beginning this week. Lower-level season ticket holders may purchase up to four lower-level tickets per game, based on availability, for remaining men’s or women’s games with a maximum of eight tickets per ticket holder, per team. Upper-level season ticket holders may also purchase single-game tickets in the upper bowl with the same stipulations.
Discounted upper-bowl, single-game tickets will be available for four games in late December and early January as part of the “Celebrate the New Year with the Bears” promotion. Lady Bears' tickets in the upper bowl will be $5 for the the January 2 and 4 games, while men's upper-level tickets will be $8 for the December 28 and January 3 games.
Other promotions such as Community Night, White Outs, Pack the House Night, will also be announced at a later date.
