Chris Kage was a teammate of Lise Einheuser on the Bears’ top-notch track and cross country teams running for coach Jeff Berryessa from 1982 to 1984. Kage came to SMS following a year in junior college and sparkled for the Bears in the first three years SMS was competing in women’s sports in the Gateway Collegiate Athletic Conference.
