Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) is teaming up with Missouri State University, Jock 98.7 FM, Mediacom and J Bucks Restaurant to present the fourth annual MSU Baseball Bears Blood Drive. The drive will be held Monday and Tuesday, May 7 & 8 at CBCO’s Springfield Donor Center, 2230 S. Glenstone. Drive hours are 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. both days.
Each participant in the drive will receive two tickets to the Bears vs. Oral Roberts game on May 8 at 7 p.m. at Hammons Field. Participants will also receive a custom event t-shirt and a coupon good for a free appetizer at J Bucks Restaurant. Donors may register for numerous door prizes, with one lucky winner getting to throw out the first pitch at the game on May 8.
Donors to Community Blood Center of the Ozarks provide all of the blood and blood products to 36 area hospitals in southwest Missouri, northwest Arkansas and southeast Kansas.
