The BEE PAYNE STEWART STRUT is to provide programs that are recognized nationally for academic and athletic excellence, representing Drury University, Evangel University, Missouri State University, The Park and the Women’s Intersports Network along with our community, Springfield, Mo. with dignity and honor.

The Bee Payne Stewart Strut will benefit women’s athletics programs and youth programs in Springfield. The Strut will provide much needed funds for these programs to continue to grow and excel academically and athletically. This is a unique opportunity for five programs to come together and to help each other reach great heights. The funds raised will make a difference in the lives of outstanding young women and children for years to come and continue to build a strong foundation for women’s athletics in our area.

The STRUT will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Jordan Valley Park on April 28, 2007. Both men and women may walk and/or run. There will be a 1.4 mile loop around downtown Springfield. If you cannot attend or cannot walk, you may still make a donation. In addition, you can earmark your donation to benefit any of the five programs or all of them. It’s your choice.

There will be prizes and special drawings for all participants. But you must turn in your $25.00 donation by April 20, 2007. For example, if you raise $300 you will be eligible for a 3-4 day Carnival Cruise for two.
