Robert W. Plaster Stadium is home to the Missouri State football team. Formerly known as "Briggs Stadium", the facility provides support to the recreational and educational needs of Missouri State.
With Missouri State's move to Conference USA in 2025, Pivot Performance Turf 1.5 by Tencate was installed prior to the season. Pivot 1.5 is the highest-performing and most-durable artificial surface Tencate has ever manufactured. It provides ultimate performance for footing and surface contact release. The unique combination of 100-percent polyethylene yarns plays and responds like the industry's top natural grass surfaces. The environmentally-friendly product does not require any infill and maintains a real-grass feel without intensive maintenance.
In 2014, the stadium was converted to a football-specific field surface and other renovations were made for a more intimate fan experience. The playing surface was replaced and moved closer to the west grand stand. In addition, the student side (east side) was fully replaced from the ground up and includes game day locker rooms, a new scoreboard and a party platform called "The Clif".
